Yakima GrandTour 18 Cubic Ft Premium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video

Yakima GrandTour 18 Cubic Ft Premium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9

Hey everyone, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Grand Tour 18 on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Now this is a perfect rooftop cargo box for if you wanna carry around some of those longer items maybe like skis and snowboards, or if you have the whole entire family loaded up in the CX9 and you need some additional storage space for some of that luggage, this is going to be a great option for that too. Our box is going to be made out of an ABS plastic which just means it is a little more durable as you can imagine, driving through all the elements maybe finding it in rain or hail or rocks sticking up from the highway hitting, it just means it's going to stay durable and rugged throughout all that. That being said, it does have a glossy black finish to it and glossy black finishes just really have a prone to smudges and scratches. So while the material itself is pretty durable, it might not keep that clean nice look forever. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box and how it fits on our 2021 Mazda CX-5. So with the CX-5, we have a decent amount of storage in the back and we can fold those second rows down if we really need to, but in the event that you're traveling with a handful of people, you run outta storage really quickly or maybe you just have some longer, larger items or something that's messy and you'd rather get it up on the roof and you still want it to be secure and protected while you're driving. This is a great way to do so. So let's check out a little bit more about how it works. To open it up, we will need the key. more

Thule Force Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Mazda 3

Today on our 2012 Mazda 3, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Force Medium Size Rooftop Cargo Box, this is 13 cubic feet, and it's made out of an aero skin black finish. The part number for it is TH624. We already have 3 of our 4 clamps down and secured, we're going to show you how we do this last one here at the front on the passenger side. What we'll start by doing is making sure our left side is locked. We'll unlock our right side here, and we're just going to lift up on our box. I'm going to step up into my vehicle, you can see our clamps there. A great thing about these clamps is that they do move up and down the track to fit whatever crossbar spread you may have, so we've got it right in the center, so our clamps are going to fit just snug around our bar. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Mazda 5

Today in our 2015 Mazda 5, we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Shadow Series cargo box, part number INBRA1250BK. As you can see we have it mounted up on our roof rack system but we still have one more foot to place in there. This is a memory mount which is exclusive to Inno design and the nice thing about this is you can set it with this little gray turn wheel to the width of your crossbar so whenever you tension that cam lever over, it stays at that same spot so you don't have to keep tightening down every time you use your cargo box. You just open and close. Now that we've seen that, let's go ahead and open our box up. This is a locking box so it will have a key, just turn it to the unlock position, press in the button and it will open up. So we have all out other feet in place this is just the last one we have to put in there. more
